Sausage's Story...
Sausage is ready to be adopted!!! We think he is a German Shepherd/Chow mix!!! His litter was very frightened at first but have really come out of their shells. Their mom is feral but they were all caught and are safe now. They are being crate trained and are doing really well with their leash training. If you want to apply to adopt him, please let us know. His adoption fee (adoption fee, transport fee, and health cert fee are included) is $550. He is NOT in CT due to the lack of fosters in the area. He is currently in TX. If you would consider adopting this dog from Transport then please email us. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue dog!! We transport dogs to CT every two weeks.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sausage, a East Hartford Chow Chow/German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chow Chow/German Shepherd Dog for sale in East Hartford, or seeking a Chow Chow/German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in East Hartford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in East Hartford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a East Hartford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chow Chow/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Chow Chow/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in East Hartford paves the way for another one to be saved.
