Willow's Info...

I am good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Willow's Story...
Just as young seeds grow to saplings then reach ever higher to the sun, so do I have a journey ahead of me. I am still just a babe, but it seems that I was planted in a garden without proper structure and guidance, left to grow and find the way for myself. I need a family with a love thumb to tend to me, and give me the fertilization of time and attention all pups need. Respectful children, cats, or other canines will be a welcome addition to my garden bed. Patience and understanding will be my nourishment as I rise ever stronger to become a sturdy canine in this forest of life. Can you see my potential through the trees?

4 months old-23lbs.-German Shepherd/Labrador/Golden Retriever/Australian Shepherd mix. My adoption fee is $300 and includes spay/neuter, microchip & registration, 1 month pet health insurance, free vet exam, reduced-cost training class, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

*My adopter must live within a reasonable distance of the Portland Metro area, and must be able to accommodate prescheduled veterinary appointments*.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Willow, a Portland German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd for sale in Portland, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
