Who doesn’t love a Coonhound?! We have had so many great hounds come through rescue over the years, we’ve developed a special affinity for them - and many of our supporters have become coonhound fans as well. Hank is a gorgeous Redbone Coonhound with awesome ears and the typical Coonhound lungs. He is fostering with 2 female dogs and doing great with them - we’re still working on the cats. He’s interested and barking, but we need to do a little more work to see if he’ll settle in. He’s about 18 months of age and very adolescent, and true to his coonhound roots - goofy, noisy, and loves the luxury of furniture. He’s keeping his foster family on their toes with his counter-surfing and is learning to walk nicely on leash, using a Sporn. Hank is friendly and loves his teenage human foster brother especially. He does well in his crate and puts himself to bed by 9pm and sleeps till morning. If you’re a coonhound person…here’s your guy! Handsome - sweet - and all hound.
