found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
When we came upon Millie at rural shelter in TN, her leg was already so badly damaged that it could not be saved. Her hip was dislocated, her femur had a nasty break, knee cap was basically shattered. According to our vet, it it was an old injury, so even at 8-12 weeks old she had been through so much. We brought her home from the vet that day and realized she had already abandoned the use of her back leg and was using three like a champion. She was jumping off the couches, running up and down stairs...Not a care in the world. After a few weeks of letting Millie's vaccines kick in and letting her get stronger we scheduled her leg to be amputated. The morning after her surgery, Millie was already up and walking, she was relieved.
Millie's story is captivating but so is her personality, EVERYONE that meets her falls in love. She is perfect with children, cats, and dogs. She is well behaved, gentle, silly and with cuddle you to death. She is house trained, and loves her crate. Millie loves to run around in the bark yard and sun bathe. We have listed Millie as special needs only because of her amputation but please know it does not hinder her at all. Whoever is lucky enough to adopt this girl will be blessed beyond measure.
Millie is about 3.5- 4 months old and will be a on the smaller end of medium when full grown. Millie's adoption fee is $500 and includes all of Millie's special vetting, her spay surgery, microchip, up to date vaccines, deworming and heartworm prevention and transport from her Memphis foster home to your area upon adoption via Road Home Pet Transport.
