Tugg's Story...
Do you feel that? Something tugging at your heart, drawing you closer and closer to the best friend of your dreams. I’m a fun pup, always up for a good time, and frankly, I’m looking to expand my horizons. I want more than life as a homeless pup—I need a fun family with kids or other dogs or sturdy cats to play with, or even just adults that like to have fun! I love to play any chance I get—I’m very much still a baby, just 5 months old…and I’m freakin’ cute, right? I’m a blank slate, so I’ll need someone to teach me all the things a pup needs to learn, like housebreaking, walking on a leash, sitting when asked…pretty straightforward stuff. I’m quick to learn and affectionate as could be…so come on, give in to the Tugg. 5 months old-38lbs. My adoption fee is $280 and includes neuter, microchip & registration, 1 month pet health insurance, free vet exam, reduced-cost training class, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tugg, a Portland Australian Cattle Dog/Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Portland, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
