My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dougal is a 2 year old American Staffordshire Terrier. If you’re looking for a snuggle buddy he’s your boy! He was found as a stray, shivering in a front yard one cold morning, hardly able to stand, with fresh and barely healing wounds scattered over his body. We have discovered that he is a sweet and gentle boy with a calm, curious personality. He loves to eat, and does the cutest, quiet little howl when he knows a meal is coming. He gets excited and wiggly whenever you walk into the room. He is housebroken, knows the commands sit and stay, and walks well on a lead. He gets along with other dogs and is comfortable around older children (9 and up), we are not sure about younger children. He is squirrel and small animal reactive so we would say a home without cats would be best. His favorite things in life are giving and receiving LOVE!

To help Dougal get acclimated to his new home, the adoption fee includes one complimentary training session for adopters that live in Macomb County and some areas of Oakland County.

The adoption fee is $150 and includes: neuter, microchip and vaccines

If you would like to make Dougal a forever member of your family please apply on line at Animal Aid Foundation Adoption and Foster Application
