This speckled beauty is Maggie Moo, aptly named for her cow-like markings. She had a tough start to life, as her former "family" decided to cut her ears with scissors to make her look mean. Maggie is FAR from mean, she is the sweetest and most affectionate dog we have seen in quite some time!

Maggie was found as a stray in Manhattan on Valentine's Day, and hopped right into a police car when they found her roaming in the city. She was a bit withdrawn and fearful at the shelter, but now that she is in a foster home her wonderful personality is shining through. She loves to to play with toys of all kinds, and she absolutely loves being a lap dog and snuggles with her foster family on the couch while they watch TV. She is very obedient, well behaved and listens very well.

Maggie is currently in a foster home with three other dogs, and they are good friends, however sometimes they get annoyed with her because she wants to play non-stop! She can be a bit pushy, poking at them and trying to engage them in play, but she learns quickly to read their signals. Maggie would love a new home with another playful dog her size or larger (her exuberant play style is too much for smaller dogs), but she would also be great as an only dog.

Maggie is 100% housebroken and knows how to sit and give paw. She is crate trained, however her foster family has been leaving her free in the house while they are at work and she is perfectly behaved. She loves people of all ages, however she would probably do best with kids 8 and up. Maggie is about 2-3 years old, 60 lbs, spayed, up to date with all her shots, microchipped, heart worm negative, and ready for a wonderful family to adopt her. She has a beautiful soul and will do anything she is asked. If you are interested in a loyal companion and a great dog, please fill out an application for Maggie Moo today!
