My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Miley is a 6 year old English Matiff, weighing in at 117 pounds. Miley came to us with a severe ear and skin infection die to neglect and living outside. Miley is house trained, loves to go for walks (using a gentle leader), and car rides. Miley loves all dogs, big and small as well as cats. Miley is a total love bug who wants to be as close as possible to her human. Miley will put her head in your lap and give you hugs just to show you how much she lives (big and small humans alike). At night she will wait patiently for you to go to bed and will curl up in her doggie bed next to yours. Miley is very calm and not destructive, chewing to a nylabones will keep her busy. Due to her food allergies Miley needs to avoid all foods containing beef and chicken. She is currently eating lamb and oatmeal based food and doing great. Miley has mild arthritis in one of her back knees and mild hip dysplasia in the other, but that does not slow her down one bit. She is truly a gentle giant looking for a family to love. Miley is up to date on all shots, heartworm negative, on heart worm preventative, microchipped, de-wormed, had a dental, and spayed. Miley’s adoption fee is $250.00. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS. Out of state adopters are responsible for arranging transport, WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS. For events calendar and adoption application please go to our website at aaprescue.org
