I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Rocky (Guest)'s Story...
We are helping Rocky find a new home.

Rocky is a black and tan male GSD about 3 years old. His owner had agreed to keep him temporarily for a friend getting divorced, who no longer wants Rocky back. They can keep him temporarily, until a new home is found.

Rocky's owner describes him as lovable, loyal and protective. Rocky gets along with dogs but could also do well as an only dog. We do not know if he like cats, he has not lived with them. He is friendly to people, but has not lived with young children.

Rocky is healthy and up to date with vet care. He is Neutered. His owner can provide vet records.

Rocky would do best in a moderately active or active home, where he could get regular exercise and playtime. He likes to play in the yard and go for walks. Rocky does bark at other dogs when on leash, so he will need an owner who is a strong leader, who can continue his training to correct the behavior. Rocky is housebroken, knows basic commands, is crate trained, and walks on a leash.

If you'd like to meet Rocky, please contact his owner directly at elevationortho@att.net.

GSDRGA has not met Rocky, he is not our foster dog. We are guest listing him. Please contact his owner to ask questions, or set up a meeting.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky (Guest), a Roswell German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Roswell, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Roswell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Roswell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Roswell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Roswell paves the way for another one to be saved.
