My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This adorable little pup is approx 9 months old and 9.8 lbs as of 3/17. He was just a stray found in a local park with some buddies. He is just the sweetest dog. He loves to run and play, and is doing well on the house training. He will need some leash training. He looks like a dachshund/long haired chi mix maybe with some sort of terrier. He has a beautiful coat with pretty markings and is just a handsome little boy.

The total adoption donation of $525 and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care. Just as a note, if you are in Massachusetts and are adopting directly from Texas rather than from a local foster, there are new quarantine laws in effect. All rescues must be quarantined 48 hours at a state run facility, and in addition, a second interstate health certificate is required to be issued by a Massachusetts vet. This new law may add an additional cost.
