Diesel's Story...
Meet Diesel! He is a 6 month old Dalmatian Lab mix puppy that came to us via Cumberland Animal Control, he is now in a foster home in Hampton Va. He currently weighs 35 lbs and will be about 50-55 lbs full grown. He is current on vaccines until next year (distemper/parvo/bordetella & rabies). He is also neutered. He is GREAT with other dogs and cats, and he loves kids. He is a very happy go lucky boy, that is always finding someone to play with. He is always on the move. While he LOVES other dogs, if you have other dogs a meet and greet will be required, because not all dogs like his energy level.

He is housebroken and crate trained.

There is an adoption contract and $150 adoption fee

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Diesel, a Hampton Dalmatian/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dalmatian/Labrador Retriever for sale in Hampton, or seeking a Dalmatian/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Hampton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hampton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hampton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dalmatian/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Dalmatian/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hampton paves the way for another one to be saved.
