Bella's Story...
Up for adoption: Gracie and Bella, a huge, incredible bonded pair, who like to live large on life! They can be adopted in Texas.

This dynamic duo are 8 years old and weigh 100 lbs each. We think they are Lab-Great Dane mixes. They're so smart they wrote their own bios!

"Hi! My name is Gracie Grace! I’m a super big snuggle buddy to anyone available. If you miss me sunbathing outside you will find me with my head in your lap snoring  I’m bonded with my sister Bella who looks just like me; we like to play outside, hang by the pool, and have nightly sleepovers. We are also great friends with my foster family’s dog (and fellow LLR rescue) and love love love the 3 kiddos that live in our foster house (ages 8, 11, 12). I’m a sucker for belly rubs and enjoy car rides whenever I can. Please consider opening your hearts to give me a furever home."

"Hi! My name is Bella (Ella Bella) and I’m the tallest of the sisters. I have a nice white patch on my chest that helps to get me Xtra attention and immediate belly rubs. If you stop, I give you a gentle high five with puppy eyes just in case you forgot what you were doing.  I’m looking for a family for my sister and me so we can continue to chilax in the sunshine, eat treats, and make some new friends. I’m really smart and will train right up with a little direction from my family. I already know how to sit, wait, eat nicely and be a giant pillow with the family kiddos. Please consider adopting us so that we can settle right in to our furever home."

Could you be their incredible home?

They are spayed, vaccinated, micro-chipped and housebroken. Apply at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a Austin Labrador Retriever/Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Great Dane for sale in Austin, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Great Dane dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Great Dane breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
