My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lily came to us in July of 2007 with a sad story. She was down in North Carolina and began having terrible difficulty giving birth. A young veterinarian with strong ties to our organization helped Lily and ultimately, saved her life and the life of one of her puppies as well. Lily and pup came to us shortly after she recuperated and they spent several weeks in our camel barn, getting strong and healthy. Eventually both were adopted. Lily returned to us nine years after being adopted when a situation arose that was beyond her owners control and her family could no longer care for her. Lily was happy to be among old friends and spends her time keeping everyone company in our administrative offices, but she is still hoping for a great home and family of her own. Lily is about 12 years old now and just the sweetest, most calm and gentle girl. She is much more petite than she appears in her pictures and Lily is so well behaved and mild-mannered. She gets along fine with dogs that are a little smaller than her and don't cause her any grief, and gets along fine with cats too. She just adores people and bonds quickly with new friends. Lily is so deserving of a peaceful and loving home where she will get all the love and attention that she deserves. File#26847 11/18/16
