My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BEAUTIFUL SPECIAL NEEDS KITTY AND HER BROTHER AVAILABLE. EMERGENCY FOSTER SITUATION.

Precious Pets first adopted out Mimi and Fred in 2005. In 2010, their owner was re-married and her husband was allergic. At that time, Mimi and Fred were re-homed with the adopter's sister.

Now several years later, the new mom has been diagnosed with an illness rendering her unable to care for them any longer. She has sent us an emergency request to re-home them by this weekend.

Mimi is a very sweet little salt and pepper tabby, approximately 12-years old, with mostly white and grayish black coloring. She loves her scratcher, as well as to sit and look out of window ledges. She likes to cuddle up with her person on the couch, and once she is comfortable, she likes to do the little “biscuits” massage. Mimi is diabetic and needs 2 insulin shots a day, which are very easy to administer and she knows the routine.

Fred is a sweet, affectionate, and playful black and white tuxedo with a vibrant personality; also approximately 12 years old. He even amuses folks by rolling over on command and wanting his belly rubbed. He loves his cat bed, and window ledges and always looks for the folded up blanket his mom leaves for him in his favorite spots.
We are hoping that Fred and Mimi can stay together.

If you can help out by fostering either one of both of these precious animals, please download a volunteer application from our website: http://www.ppahrescue.org/about-us/
