Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cyrus is a young (1-2 years old) poodle mix. Cyrus originally came in with his older friend Celia, but after a few weeks has gained the confidence to strike out on his own. Cyrus is great with other dogs of all sizes and has lived in his foster home with small, medium, and large dogs of all ages. He is also great with cats.
Cyrus is very excitable and is a happy go lucky little guy. He weighs about 12 pounds. Cyrus is still learning about appropriate leash walking, and would probably prefer a house with a fenced yard in which he can romp around freely. Cy is comfortable in his crate, but may cry and make some noise initially before he calms down. Cyrus likes to be around his people, and will cry and bark when he thinks they left him, even if it is just to run downstairs! He is probably too loud for an apartment.
Cyrus is almost completely potty trained and with a little more work, should be fully potty trained. Cyrus would benefit from some basic obedience training, but really just aims to please and is super food motivated. Cyrus is a great little guy who is looking for a loving home, who will let him cuddle up next to his humans on the couch once he has gotten out all of his energy for the day!
If you are interested in adopting this pet, please visit our website at www.rchsks.org and click on "Adopting a Pet" on the left side. You will be asked to complete a few forms. By filling out these forms, you are not committing yourselves to the pet you're interested in, it's a screening process that must be completed before you meet the dog. Please do this BEFORE calling.
