Grover is a very easy dog to have around the house. He is a sweet guy who gets along very well with other dogs, cats and loves people. He is so happy to be near people and has the very best personality in the world! Boy does he love people! Grover is a major lap dog and likes to give lots of kisses.
He is listed as "Special Needs" because he is lacking toes on his front feet, there are pads present but no toes. An anonymous person said his owner had died and his paws are the result of being chained outside to a doghouse and getting frostbite. This does not slow Grover down much and does not make him any less of a happy, loving dog!
Despite his disability, he gets around fairly well in the home. He navigates stairs fairly well and given time he always gets himself where he wants to go. Even on hardwood floors, Grover hops around or scoots around on his chest. Once he gets outside in the grass, he has very little mobility problems and has even been seen trotting a few times.
