Loretta's Story...
Hello...My name's Loretta and I'm one of the dogs involved in the hoarding situation you may have heard about recently. Though the VHS doesn't have back ground information on me, I've been on several Canines for Cardio walks and my Walkers have provided some good information about me. I'm a friendly, playful well mannered girl and I'm easy to walk. I like people and other dogs and like to investigate things on my walks. I had a pretty sad life for at least some period of time before coming to the VHS. But I've managed to keep my sweet and gentle disposition. Hmm...a home of my own, a stroll in the neighborhood, a comfy place in the living room and a gentle person telling me what a sweet girl I am - Perfect!
My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, up to date immunizations, nationally recognized microchip and more.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Loretta, a Evansville American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Evansville, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Evansville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Evansville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Evansville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Evansville paves the way for another one to be saved.
