Facts about Lazarus - N

  • Breed: Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) Mix
  • Color: Tan/Yellow/Fawn - With White
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)

Lazarus is a silly, exuberant, bouncy little fella full of funny antics that will keep you smiling. The photos are a good indication of his personality. On walks, he spends a good amount of time rolling in the grass, not knowing quite yet how to walk on leash but with continued leash training using positive reinforcement this will change. Once he masters it, going on walks will become one of his favorite things to do as he certainly has the energy for it. Lazarus gets along with other dogs, although if around other dogs while being free-fed he may get a bit pushy - and seems okay around cats so far. His estimated year of birth is 2010 and his weight is around 30 lbs. If interested, please contact RickyC68@aol.com and please include a phone number where you can be reached. Thank you.

About Smiling Dog Farms- NY Huntington chapter

About Our Rescue Group...

Smiling Dog Farms is a sanctuary for the forgotten, neglected and rejected. Our dogs come from shelters and rescues all across America. All dogs that are deemed adoptable are up to date on shots, spayed or neutered, and on heartworm prevention. Many of our dogs live in Wharton Texas, but we have very safe, reliable transport to the northeastern states.

Our Adoption Process...

Most of the dogs that come to our Sanctuary have had a scary background of being left to die in animal shelters across the country. Understandably, we are very careful in our approving our adoptions as we are dedicated to ensuring that this dogs truly go to a "forever" home. As a result, our process is stringent, requiring an application, home visit, vet and reference checks and an adoption contract. We want the adoption to be a match made in heaven for both the new adoptive parents and the adopted dog.
