Star's Story...
This gregarious girl is Star and she is on the lookout for her loving forever home. Since Star is only 9 months, we are going to be collecting applications for review and calling in the person we feel is the best fit to come in to meet her. Star is a little nervous with new people but once she gets comfortable she is a total goofball. She really likes to be with people and can get restless if left alone for too often. It is going to be super important that she gets lots of exercise daily because she can get destructive when she gets bored. She will do best going to a home with someone who isn't gone for long stretches and who likes to be active. Star is also working on her potty training and getting her comfortable with a crate is a good idea. Star will need to be signed up for positive, reward-based training before going to her new home. She has lived with other dogs before and would enjoy having a canine friend in her new home. She can be a bit pushy with other dogs though so any dogs she lives with should be pretty easy-going. Star can only live with the most confident of cats. She can live with children aged 8 and up. If you are interested in Star, please come to the front to fill out an application for review.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Star, a Bellingham Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
