My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This senior is in need of a loving home. He is approx 13 years and 8 lbs, although you would never know it. He acts like a much younger dog. He was abandoned at a high kill shelter by his owner who said they were moving and could not take him – we know, it is disgusting! We rescued his housemate Mary Jane, and could not leave him behind to die. He is just the sweetest little boy. He looks like a Havanese. We had our groomer clean him up as he was so matted. He does have cataracts in both eyes, but has some vision but gets around really well. He does want to be with you and would do better with someone who is home a lot that can give him lots of attention. He likes to be where ever you are. He would also do well with a buddy to keep him company. He does pretty well on a leash and seems to be pretty well house trained. He is the perfect lap dog.

The total adoption donation of $375 and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. We also provide a coupon for a free wellness visit to the South Wilton Vet group if convenient for you.
