Don't let that fluff fool you he is quite petite under there. We believe he is a Jack Russell/Shih Tzu mix.Less than 10lbs. He is great with other dogs but does get a little overly excited around males that are not fixed. He is neutered, microchiped, and UTD on all his vaccines. He does great in a crate for short periods of time (we don't think they should be crated for hours on end). He is wonderful on a leash and is learning basic commands.
He is a little shy at first but once he gets to know you he is a happy guy and wants to snuggle, this guy is happiest when he is snuggling next to someone! He has done well with children (I have not had him around toddler ages kids) and has not shown any aggressive behavior. He doesn't like lots of loud sudden noises but has done well at grooming shop with me having to be around the dryers all day. He is great on trips because he loves to ride in the car. He is a very calm and lovable little guy! He loves being a couch potato!
WE ARE IN ABILENE, TEXAS. WE DO NOT SHIP OR TRANSPORT OUR PETS, WE REQUIRE ADOPTERS MEET THE DOG TO MAKE SURE IT IS A GOOD FIT.
NOTE: We are a rescue, the dogs are in foster homes. WE DO NOT HAVE A FACILITY THAT OPENS TO THE PUBLIC. We require an application BEFORE a potential adopter will be introduced to one of our pets. We contact vets to ensure that pets already in the adoptive home are current on vaccines, heartworm prevention and sterilized. We have gotten to know the pet and our goal is to make the best match, between pet and people. PLEASE be aware, we do not adopt out to a home that has an animal which has not been spayed or neutered.
Please email us at email@example.com to receive an Adoption Application or for more information on our Adoption process. Please take the time to visit our website www.pawedsquad.com for additional information.
We represent the pet to the best of our ability, they are rescue dogs and we don't always get their history.
