Chelsea's Story...
Introducing Chelsea !!! She is adoptable in Texas and New England.

Chelsea is approximately a year old and full of that wonderful labbie energy!

Chelsea loves running in the yard chasing the squirrels and playing with dogs her size. Being young and not knowing her own "puppy strength"she does play roughly at times, so small dogs or small children would not be a good idea. She does however do just fine with cats.

Chelsea really does well with another dog in the home. She loves having the company. She would do well in a home where someone is home often.

Chelsea is a former mamma dog. All her puppies were adopted out, now Chelsea is "fixed" and she is ready for home of her own.

Chelsea does well on leash and is working on her crate training. As most labs Chelsea is attentive, corrects quickly and lives to please her people. She is still in her puppy chewing stages and can be "mouthy", so does need more work on her manners. But hey what kid doesn't?

She weighs approximately 60 lbs.

Chelsea is spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped.House broken too!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chelsea, a Austin Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Austin, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
