Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Up for adoption in Texas and New England: Butch.
Okay all you fans of big, fluffy, furry dogs we've got your man! We don't know what Butch is mixed with, but we see a Lab head in all that gorgeous, shiny fur, so we took him ! :)
Butch is very calm and friendly, walks well on leash, does let you know while on leash in the presence of other dogs, he'd like to go meet him and wags his tail in a non-aggressive way. He is good with other dogs.
He is about 2 years old and weighs about 51 lbs.
Butch is potty trained, not into toys, not destructive in any way, loves belly rubs and enjoys snuggling.
He knows some commands (sit, paw, down and maybe rollover), ignored cats in kennels when he went to the vet, but is not otherwise tested with cats or kids. He seems to be fine with all adults, not much of a barker, prefers to be indoors, gets hot quickly outside with the Texas heat and all this hair. He's an excellent dog.
He is neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped. Apply at www.luckylabrescue.com
