Little Bit's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Little Bit is about a 2 to 3 yr old Doxi/cur mix female. She is sweet and obedient. She gets along well with dogs, cats and people. But, she doesn't like big dogs pushing her around  or 10 yr old boys teasing her and she will snap at them. She has had a litter in the past and has not yet been spayed. She weighs 16lb and is a weak HW positive.. She is a very sweet little dog that will fit in a family very easily. Her picture doesn't show it well but she is a black merle

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Little Bit, a Rayville Dachshund/Catahoula Leopard Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Catahoula Leopard Dog for sale in Rayville, or seeking a Dachshund/Catahoula Leopard Dog dog from a breeder in Rayville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rayville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rayville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Catahoula Leopard Dog breeders who help with Dachshund/Catahoula Leopard Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rayville paves the way for another one to be saved.
