"Hi, everyone! My name is CHIQUITA and I'm a three-year-old Staffordshire Terrier girl who's looking for a person or family who'll love me forever. I hate to brag, but everyone here at the shelter says that I'm one of the SWEETEST dogs who ever existed. My affectionate nature knows no bounds. I love to snuggle and rest on your lap like a baby. When you rub my belly, I make little snorting noises, like purring, out of delight. I'm precious through and through. I'd do best in a family where the kids are older, and I'd need to be the only dog in my home (no cats, either). I know how to sit on command, and I'd love to learn so much more if you'll just spend some time teaching me. I really appreciate treats and praise, so I'd respond well to positive reinforcement training. Won't you please come visit me? I'm waiting for you here at the El Cajon Animal Shelter.
