My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*BONDED PAIR – MUST BE ADOPTED TOGETHER – NO EXCEPTIONS* The adoption fee will be reduced since Milo and Otis had some of their vetting done prior to entering our rescue group. The total adoption fee for both is $600 (which also includes transport).

Milo (female) and Otis (male) were surrendered to us when their human was moving and she requested that they be adopted together since they have been together their whole lives. They have quite different personalities, but maybe why that’s why they love each other so much! They are both around 2-4 years old. Milo weighs 15 pounds and Otis weighs around 20 pounds.

Milo is a happy go lucky girl. She loves everyone – adults, kids, dogs, cats – literally everyone! She may be shy at first, but she will quickly warm up and will be right next to you on the sofa giving you kisses. She is definitely a lap dog, although she will play sometimes too! Milo is housebroken and crate trained.

Otis is much more reserved than Milo and it takes him a little longer to adjust. It is best to be patient and just let him come to you once he is ready! He loves Milo and does well with puppies, but doesn’t always do well with adult dogs. He would prefer to go to a home where it will just be him and his sister. Once he warms up to his human, he will want to be right next to you, just like Milo. He also loves to kiss, be petted and loved on, and play. He is also crate trained and housebroken.

If you are interested in adding Milo and Otis to your family, please go to www.goofyfootrescue.org to complete an online adoption application. They are currently being fostered in west Tennessee and will be transported once their adoptions are finalized. Transport runs to the following cities: Harrisonburg, VA; Hagerstown, MD; Harrisburg, PA; Allentown, PA; Bedminster, NJ; Southington, CT; Willington, CT.
