My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Little Guido looks like a shih tzu mix. He has the most precious underbite. He's a good little boy of approx 1 year old and 12 lbs. He seems to be pretty well leash and house trained. He gets along with the other dogs except that he does not like sharing his treats with them. He loves to sit on your lap and get lots of attention. He is quiet and well behaved.

The total adoption donation of $525 and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care. Just as a note, if you are in Massachusetts and are adopting directly from Texas rather than from a local foster, there are new quarantine laws in effect. All rescues must be quarantined 48 hours at a state run facility, and in addition, a second interstate health certificate is required to be issued by a Massachusetts vet. This new law may add an additional cost.
