My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maverik is a good boy. This baby went through a lot. He was pulled from a flooded shelter in Louisiana during the floods earlier in 2016. He is great with people but it would be best not to be adopted in families with toddlers but rather older children 10 plus of age. He is potty trained and low maintenance when it comes to grooming needs. Maverik is not destructive if left out and behaves well toward human belongings. He loves to cuddle with his human and loves attention. He was in a foster home with a pet cat and he did great. Maverik finished his last heartworm treatment and is negative on heartworms. Maverick needs experienced owner who will know how to handle him. He is super smart and can be suborn at the time. Sometimes he does not like to be picked up especially if he is playing around. Maverick loves to chase bugs, laser, and flash light reflection...... he is a true clown and will make you smile. If interested in maverick please get in touch with SDDR.
