Max is an 8 month old Catahoula/Australian Shepherd pup.  He is very sweet and affectionate and loves to get attention.  He would do best in a home with someone who is either retired or works from home.  Max gets very anxious when left alone and requires reassurance that he is safe.  Max survived having Parvo and is now completely healthy.  He is now learning to go potty outside and can sit on command when offered a treat.  He is very resourceful when he wants to get to the ones he loves.  His agility skills are impeccable and can easily leap over a crate to be around others.  He would make a great running companion.  Must go to a family that will give him lots of exercise. If interested in giving this sweet boy a second chance at a good stable life, please complete an adoption application at www.rescuepaws3.com and e-mail to Sandra at rescuepaws3@gmail.com. If you have any questions about my special Max, please text Sandra at 305-206-5977.

Our Adoption Process...

In order to schedule a meet and greet with an adoptable pet, you must complete and adoption application for us to review and check references. We then schedule a meet and greet and if you wish to adopt, you must complete an adoption contract and we do a home visit to ensure that your home meets the needs of the adoptable pet. Adoption fees are $250.00 for dogs older than 1 year old and puppies younger than 1 year old are $300.00. Kittens are $60.00 and adult cats we will typically do the TNR process to prevent overpopulation. If a puppy or kitten is adopted, the adopter must sign a spay/neuter release form and give a refundable 150.00 for female puppies, 100.00 for male puppies and 30.00 for kittens. Your check will be returned once your new pet is spayed/neutered at the vet of our choice. Kittens are spayed/neutered at MDAS and puppies undergo surgery at one of our participating vets.
