Elle's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Elle's Story...
Elle was rescued in rural Georgia by a supporter and friend of our rescue. They fostered Elle in their home until she was fully vetted and ready to make the big trip to Connecticut. Elle has been fostered with other dogs and has gotten along well with them. She is still new to our shelter, so we are still getting to know her. Elle weighs 55 lbs and is approximately a year old.

Elle is spayed and vaccinated for Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella, and Lyme. She tested negative for heartworm and tick borne diseases and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention too. She is also microchipped with a lifetime registration.

To meet her, please visit our website www.HalfwayHomeRescue.org to complete an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Elle, a North Haven Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in North Haven, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in North Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
