My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Diego is fostered in Vista California, through United Yorkie Rescue. http://unitedyorkierescue.org
Diego is a 10 year old, 11 lb. little bundle of joy, a sweet boy and is 1/2 of a bonded pair. Diego's buddy PJ is a 10 year old, 8 lb. boy. Diego and PJ have the best personalities and love to give kisses. Diego loves to bounce around and play with his buddy and is looking forward to finding a place to call home.
Although Diego doesn't have very many teeth, he has no trouble eating and loves food. Unfortunately he loves it a little bit too much and has been given plenty, so he needs to lose a pound or two. The vet has diagnosed hypothyroidism which is what is causing him to stay a little on the husky side. He's started medication which will need to be regulated, and may be a life commitment. His buddy PJ also turned out to have hypothyroidism, but it affects him differently. PJ and Diego are on the same medication in a different dose, which makes it easier.
PJ and Diego are truly bonded and give each other kisses all the time (which it just too cute and neither of them have very many teeth). You would never know their age by their behavior; they play with each other and run around with their other foster brother.
Diego (and PJ) are the cutest little loves, and we hope they find a warm loving home they can settle into very soon.To complete an application for Diego (and PJ) go to: http://unitedyorkierescue.org.
