Koda is a very pretty girl with an energetic personality. Active and full of love, this young boxer/husky mix will do best in an active household who can provide the training and energy release a youngster like she requires. Walks, runs, hikes, obedience training, and engaging in well-mannered play are all great ways to provide her with the physical and mental stimulation to keep her calm and content. A fenced in yard would be best for her too. Koda knows how to sit, shake, and down and will make her new family proud to call her their own.

Koda's adoption fee is $175; she is microchipped, spayed, and up to date on vaccines. Some of our pets are in foster care. If you are interested in a specific pet, please contact the shelter at (618) 939-7389 to arrange a meeting.

About Helping Strays of Monroe County

About Our Shelter...

We promote the humane care of all abandoned and stray animals in our community. We are a no-kill shelter. All of our pets leave the shelter for their forever homes micro-chipped, up to date on vaccines, and altered.

Founded in 2002, Helping Strays is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization supported entirely by donations.

Our lucky animals receive appropriate medical care, are featured on the Helping Strays website "adoption list" and are taken to several adoption events every month in an attempt to find permanent, loving homes.
