My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Turbo is a 14 month old Fawn male. Turbo was surrendered to rescue when his owner had to move overseas. He is a very sweet happy boy but he is young and has a high-energy level. He has never lived with another dog, cat or kids. He is enjoying playing with other dogs but does play a bit rough but is learning how to calm down a bit. Since he is so young he will be adopted with a training requirement to ensure he reaches his full potential.

Turbo came to MAGDRL in February (5).

Update March 22, 2017
Turbo is doing well with his foster family. He is a very manageable young Dane - his puppy-ness is not overwhelming at all. He does enjoying playing and attempts to play often with his foster brother who does not reciprocate. Turbo often pushes the play envelope but does back down with appropriate signals mostly of being ignored. We do feel given his energy level and love to play that he would do best in a home with another energetic dog. He walks beautifully on a leash and really turns heads! He is a little shy on walks with people, but opens right up to everyone once inside. He's 100% house-trained. He does OK in his crate. He exhibits some separation anxiety paired with some puppy boredom, which can be managed. He is a dissector-style chewer so will pull stuffing out of anything he's left with (bed, blankets, etc). He likely would not be OK left alone unconfined in a house. He is untested with cats or any other animals. He has not lived with children but did meet two young kids on an outing recently and just adored them - even whispered doggie secrets in the 4 year-old's ear! He's really a sweet, sweet guy.
