Pebbles's Story...
Pebbles is a 3month - ish Scruffy mutt. We believe that Pebbles is either a Schnauzer/Shepherd or Terrier/Shepherd. She doesn't seem to shed too much so far, but that could just be that she is still in her puppy stage, but we believe she wont ever shed quite as much as a normal Shepherd.

Pebbles is as cute as can be. Her pictures don't do her justice. She is about 13lbs right now and we believe she will be a medium - large dog. She has pretty big paws and so many wrinkles to grow in to. the fur on her face is very scruffy and the fur on her body is very fluffy and soft, like a Shepherd. She is absolutely one of a kind.

Pebbles is the sweetest, most snuggly dog. She LOVES to run around the yard and play with her foster brothers and sisters. She is at the puppy stage where she plays hard and sleeps harder. When it's nap time, she loves to snuggle with her foster mom on the couch while watching TV, but she is also okay snuggling with her foster siblings on the dog bed. Either way, she is just always happy. Pebbles would be a great hiking dog. She needs a family with another dog or someone who has time to take her on lots of adventures. She doesn't have an extensive amount of energy, just the normal puppy energy. That being said, she is very happy when being active with her foster family. Pebbles will absolutely need to continue her socialization and obedience training. She is so smart, and on her way to being such a well trained dog, we just want to ensure that continues in her forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pebbles, a Boulder Schnauzer (Giant)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Giant)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Boulder, or seeking a Schnauzer (Giant)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Boulder.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boulder already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boulder breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Giant)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Giant)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boulder paves the way for another one to be saved.
