Here's what the humans have to say about me:
If you want a close, loyal companion, then Ebony D is the dog for you. She is a beautiful, healthy, five year old, black female Lab who weighs 79 pounds. Her black hair is shiny the way a black Lab’s hair should look. She is a beautiful girl.
She came into SCLRR from a local shelter being turned in by her owner with another dog for moving.
Ebony D is very sweet but must have been mistreated in the past as she needs time to trust new people. She is VERY shy in the beginning and needs few days to trust new people. Once she gets to know you she warms up to you and looks at you with immense adulation. She is a very sweet and faithful dog.
She likes to go for walks with her foster family. Ebony D knows the commands to stay and to sit. She is getting alone great with her furry foster brother and she would love to have a furry brother at her new house. She is also good with the cats in her foster home.
She will be a wonderful, loyal companion. Ebony D will love to have a quiet home with not a lot of people coming in and out of the house as she is still shy of new people. We are also looking for a family for her in Orange County as this adoption will have to be done gradually. For more information on Ebony D, please contact your family representative.
