Bear's Story...
Hi!
My name is Bourbon and I am a very handsome 4 year old Liver and Tan boy just a little on the small side but I have big heart!
Even though I'm 4 I am one of the best trailing, obedience, agility prospects my rescue has seen.
The size of Texas my foster momma says!
She also says I am ready for my forever family, so here is what I am searching for...
I would so like my forever family to have a furry family member who likes to fetch balls and play tug o war.. Play time is a must have!
If they have two legged family members who like to play that's ok too as longer as they or a little older..
I need a comfy bed, a couch, recliner or your lap. I can never seem to make up my mind. They are all my faves!
Snuggle and love time are so very important to me, so I hope you have plenty to give!
I need to take my meals in a quiet safe place as I am a little insecure at dinner time.
I would also prefer an owner who will help build my confidence as I am a little shy and insecure with new people and places. My Foster mom says an experienced Bloodhound owner would be awesome and we would make a perfect match!
I think that about covers it.. Oh wait I almost forgot!
I am house trained, crate trained, neutered, microchipped and don't forget I come with a Texas size heart!
Almost There,
Bourbon

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bear, a Fayetteville Bloodhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bloodhound for sale in Fayetteville, or seeking a Bloodhound dog from a breeder in Fayetteville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fayetteville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fayetteville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bloodhound breeders who help with Bloodhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fayetteville paves the way for another one to be saved.
