Miss Jackie is a 5 year old small 15 pound, petite Jack Russell Terrier female. Jackie is loving and likes to sit very close to her humans. She always sits next to anyone who is on the couch and at nighttime she prefers to snuggle at the foot of the bed. She is very energetic and loves to run in the yard. She does great on a leash and enjoys walks. She is housebroken and is used to being home all day alone without accidents. She can snooze in the house all alone and never bother anything. She eats dry dog food and has a hard dog treat every morning. She is not fussy about what brand. She goes right to the back door to let you know when she has to go outside and she understands she needs to take care of business before playing in the yard. She does not bark often, just if someone pounds on the front door. She does shed but not too much. Because she is only 15 pounds and is small boned, I am able to give her a bath in the kitchen sink. She sits still for her baths and lets me clean her weekly.
Jackie is a perfect little dog. Like so many female JRTs she does NOT like other dogs and must be an only child. However, she does like cats!!! She has had all her vet work done and is very healthy and perky and happy! There are a few requirements to adopt this little ray of sunshine: Fenced in yard..no electronic fencing. No kids. No dogs. Home visit. Good vet reference. JRT experience. Adopter must be willing to drive to Dallas
