I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Reily's Story...
Reily is an absolutely wonderful, sweet, quiet girl searching for her fur-ever home!!! She is approximately 1.5 years old, 40 lbs, great with kids, dogs & cats, housebroken, and crate trained. She is a little shy when she first meets new people but quickly warms up (especially if you allow her to curl up in your lap!!) She enjoys playing with her foster canine siblings and is truly an all around fabulous gal!! She would make a great addition to just about any family.
Reily is being fostered in Manteno, IL. She is UTD on rabies, DHPP, bordatella, heartworm negative, dewormed, spayed and microchipped. For more information and an adoption application, please email meghan@forgetmenotrescue.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Reily, a Manhattan Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Manhattan, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Manhattan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manhattan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manhattan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manhattan paves the way for another one to be saved.
