Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ACORN HAS BEEN ADOPTED!Meet Acorn, a tiny adorable little love bug looking for a forever family! This tiny squirt weighs in at just 4 pounds right now and is 9 weeks old (3/6/17). We are guessing he'll be around 30 pounds when fully grown. Acorn was rescued from a high kill shelter in Kentucky with his four littermates and they made their way to Pal's Place rescue in Chicago. They are now in a wonderful and nurturing foster home but would love to meet their forever families soon. We were told his mother was a Shepherd mix and that his father may have been a cattledog mix. Acorn is extremely friendly and social and will make a wonderful friend, his tail wags non-stop and he is always happy to shower his favorite people with gentle kisses. Acorn is the smallest pup in the litter, but what he lacks in size, he makes up for in personality! He loves meeting new friends and is a happy, easy going fella that will make a terrific companion. Acorn or any of his littermates will be great pets for families with the time and energy for a young pup. The pups are currently in a foster home on Chicago's north side and can be seen by appointment once an application has been received and approved. Their adoption donation to the rescue is $375. They have been neutered/spayed, are up to date with age appropriate vaccines and are microchipped. For more information or for an application to meet them, please email Palsplace1@hotmail.com
Acorn's adoption donation is $375. This donation helps to cover his neuter, initial vaccines, initial worming, and microchip. Pal's Place relies solely on donations to care for the pets in our care. Your donation also helps save other animals like Acorn from euthanasia.
Please email Palsplace1@hotmail.com for an adoption application and please put the name of the dog in the subject line. Please be sure to check your spam/junk folder; sometimes the applications end up in there!
All of our dogs are in foster homes are can be seen BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, after an approved application has been received. To receive more info please email palsplace1@hotmail.com. Email is the preferred method of contact and is the quickest way to receive a response. We cannot place holds on our dogs, please do not contact us until you are prepared to adopt.
