Hi my name is Gabee.  I am 11 months old & weigh 25 pounds 10 ounces.  I love people and other dogs despite having had a hard life. I was on a chain since I was a puppy.  My former owner did not believe that dogs belonged in the house to be part of the family.  I am one of the many dogs that she had chained out.  At one point there were 25 of us. She also chained outside a small black cat.  Many of my friends have been rescued from this situation and they are living a good life with great families.  That is what I want my life to be like.  I am timid at first but I will warm up to you very quickly.  Living on a chain has you scared of everything at first because you can't get away.  I will make a wonderful companion to any family that just give me love.  I love being petted. I get along great with other dogs.  My brother River was also rescued from the same place he was on a chain for 7 months.  As soon as we got into foster we blossomed and now are running around and frolicking in the backyard with seven other dogs!  When Peace4Paws announced that they wanted to rescue me I went straight to the vet and was neutered and received all my shots and vaccinations.  I am a very healthy and appreciative who can't wait to meet you forever family! Come soon please! I can’t wait to love you!! Please fill out an application at

About Peace4Paws Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

Peace4paws is a 501 (c) 3 non profit public charity centered in Northern New Jersey. Through our foster home system, we are able to support the rehoming and adoption of dogs from kill shelters as well as facilities of research and related fields. Founded in 2007, our initial mission focused on supporting sanctuary and forever homes for animals retired from use in research and related fields. In the past few years we have broadened our scope of rescue. We continue to help our own retired research animals and independent sanctuaries but also save shelter dogs. We are able to do this work through the efforts of our volunteer network and generous donors. Please see our website or facebook page "Peace4Paws" to meet our adoptable dogs, success stories or volunteer opportunities. We organize fundraising events centered around yoga, music, health, or animal friendly activities. We are also involved with student outreach and education. We would love to work with you.
