Job's Story...
Hi, I'm Job! I am a very affectionate and playful retriever/aussie mix and I'm about 40 lbs. I am super smart! I love to play fetch<3 I'm not a huge fan of smaller dogs, but that could just be from the stress of the shelter. I'm going to prison now though to get some great obedience training. Once I finish near the end of April, I will be crate and potty trained and know lots of tricks! I'd love to find a family that would like to take me on hikes and adventures! Come meet me and you'll see how sweet I am!

Job is receiving obedience training at a Virginia correctional center. To learn more about the Pen Pals program, please visit our website at www.fetchacure.com. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Job, a Richmond Retriever (Unknown Type)/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Australian Shepherd for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Retriever (Unknown Type)/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Retriever (Unknown Type)/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
