My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Carmen and her two puppies came to the rescue after a plea went out to remove these animals from the backyard of a home. The people moved and left them behind.....yes mom and two puppies who are 8 weeks old. Luckily we got to them in time and took them into foster. Everyone got a well needed flea and tick bath, a full stomach, and settled into nice warm cozy beds. This little family never knew what love or comfort was as they lived in the backyard their whole life. How can people just leave these cuties behind is beyond us.

Carmen is a wire hair terrier, daschund mix apx. 2 years old and the sweetest little girl ever. All she wants to do is cuddle and kiss you. She gets along great with other dogs, cats and kids. Overall she is a very easy gentle soul who will fit right into any household. As with all rescues, time and patience is needed for them to settle into new surroundings before you see their true personality - roughly 4 - 6 weeks. Carmen will easily adjust and is a very well rounded girl. Her foster home has disabled children who are always playing, poking, hugging and kisses the animals, so they are use to this and Carmen just eats it up.
