Facts about Flash

  • Breed: Siberian Husky
  • Color: White - With Gray Or Silver
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Male
Flash is a striking White & Grey, blue eyed, 40 lb, 3 yr old neutered male. Very typical young male Siberian personality. He is an active boy with high escape & prey drive. He will sit and shake on command but needs a little work on his leash manners. Very much a clown and a 'talker'. This guy is neutered, housebroken, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations. Due to his history we will only consider adopters with a 6' securely fenced yard ! Adopters with prior Siberian experience preferred. PLEASE NOTE: We MUST have your completed Adoption Application on file BEFORE we arrange a meet & greet. MANDATORY Vet check and secure fenced yard required. No cats or small dogs. NO calls please, email only. We do not transport, all dogs MUST be picked up in person. Adoption Donation is $150.

About FOCCAS, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

FOCCAS, Inc. (Friends of Citrus County Animal Shelters) was formed by a team of concerned citizens who are dedicated to advocating animal welfare, community involvement and humane education. Our mission is to build awareness in the community about the local shelter, increase the adopt-ability of shelter animals and foster alliances with rescues. We also selectively rescue, foster and adopt out selected breeds of dogs.

FOCCAS is a registered charity in the State of FL and has 501(c)(3) status with the IRS. We have no paid employees or directors. We are 100% volunteer-based. All donations are used to help the animals. Our volunteers & fosters provide their own transportation for themselves and shelter pets to adoption events, veterinary care, and other rescue groups. Often our pets require extensive medical care for conditions or injuries that are beyond the scope of shelter medicine. Surgeries and x-rays are the most common. We rely entirely on donations and fundraising efforts.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are foster based rescue, all pet meet & greets are by appointment only.

Our Adoption Process...

All adopters must be at least 18 years old (or accompanied by an adult) and either own their own home or have written permission and/or a rental agreement that specifies they can have pets on the property. Some dogs will only be adopted out to applicants with a fenced yard and/or proven handling experience with the breed.

All our pets are kept by fosters in their homes, we have no "kennel facility". All our pets are indoor, companion animals - we DO NOT offer any sort of guard or yard dogs EVER !

There is a required donation for all adoptions that varies by dog, please refer to the description for a given dog's requested donation. All our dogs are spayed/neutered, current on rabies, distemper/parvo & Bordetella vaccinations, heartworm tested, wormed, on flea and heartworm preventative and microchipped.

You may email us anytime @ if you have questions about our adoption process or to request an application.
