Angelina's Story...
Angelina is about ten years old and came to us from another rescue down south. This older lady is just an absolute sweetheart! She can be a bit hard of hearing at times, or maybe she just has selective hearing! If you are looking for a mushy girl who likes to play, but has a lower energy level, she is the dog for you!

For more information on Angelina, call AWS at 860-354-1350 email animalwelfare.socty@snet.net or visit us during adoption hours (Tuesday from 11a.m until 7 p.m and Wednesday through Saturday, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.) Adoption fee for dogs is $275 and puppies ( 6 months and under) are $325.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Angelina, a New Milford Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in New Milford, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in New Milford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Milford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Milford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Milford paves the way for another one to be saved.
