Coco is a sweet 8 year old poodle mix that was saved from the local county shelter when she was surrendered by her owner because they could no longer take care of her. Coco came to our rescue with bad skin, very matted fur, lots of fleas and one eye removed due to severe pain and the other eye that had an uncertain outcome. After speaking with an ophthalmologist, the doctor feels surgery can be done to correct her other eye so it does not have to be removed as well. She is very sweet but can get scared when approached too quickly. She weighs approximately 15 lbs. She would do best in an adult only home with someone who is looking for a best friend and a snuggle buddy. She is house trained, up to date on all shots, heartworm negative. She will need drops for her good eye for the rest of her life, so will need someone who is able to provide that for her. She loves to go for walks and is a very happy social little girl when meeting new people and other animals. She is both big and small dog tested as well as cat tested.
