Maggie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Maggie's Story...
Maggie came to us from the Rockport area where she had been dumped and was living under a house. A very nice lady finally convinced Maggie that not all people are bad and allowed the nice lady to get her in the car and start a new life. Unfortunately due to lack of care, Maggie is Heartworm positive, but we will be treating her on the 27th. After her treatment she will need a month of leash walking and TLC, and will be forever grateful to you for helping her through.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggie, a San Antonio Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
