My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A girl should never have to tell her age or weight but I'll do it just this once if it helps me find my forever home....I'm 2 years old and 60 pounds.

I'm Joyce or "Joyce Mama" as my foster mom likes to call me. I'm finally finished with Pups for Parole obedience training. SCCC in Licking MO was my home for 3 months!!!!! Sit, stay, heel, down, leave it and kennel are some of the things I learned while I was there. My new owner needs to be someone that is assertive with commands so that I have no choice but to do what I'm told.

I'm crate trained and housebroken. In fact, while I was locked up, I would take my leash to my handlers to let them know I needed to go outside.

I came to Rescue One in January as a feral dog in need of a warm place for me and my puppies. I'll do best in a home with other dogs that can help build my confidence and show me how to live a life as a beloved pet.

My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip with free lifetime registration!
