Dixie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Dixie's Story...
Poor Dixie sat at animal control for a few months and was almost about to be euthanized for space but lucky for her we rescued her. Dixie is an amazing dog and we have no idea why no one wanted her. She is housebroken and crate trained. She gets along great with other dogs and is good around kids. She loves meeting new people. She especially loves squeaky toys and pretty much any toy. She is just not good at fetch but she will hold her toy all the time. She is 7 years old but she is so full of life! All she wants is a family, will that be you?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dixie, a Manhattan Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Manhattan, or seeking a Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Manhattan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manhattan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manhattan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manhattan paves the way for another one to be saved.
