Finn's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Finn's Story...

Finn is a handsome 1 year old lab who joined BD&CR after finding himself in a rural southern shelter following Hurricane Matthew.  Finn is a shy boy who would benefit from a patient adopter who will continue to get him out and about to experience the world.  A home with a confident dog would be best as he does tend to follow their lead when it comes to human interaction and he loves to play.  Finn is currently in a foster home with other dogs, cats, and children and does well with all.

If you are interested in adopting, please complete an application at blackdogsandcompanyrescue.org or email rescueblackdogs@yahoo.com. Vet references and a home visit are required. Adoption fee of $300 includes age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, spay or neuter and microchip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Finn, a Darlington Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Darlington, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Darlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Darlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Darlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Darlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
