Ziggy's Story...
Ziggy is too adorable! He is a Yorkie Chihuahua mixed little man we estimate to be around 5 months old. Ziggy is still so tiny we expect he will remain under 10 pounds if that. In our care he has been exposed to a host of other animals and does wonderfully with all. His best friend is Hershey our Chocolate Chihuahua, the boys roll and play for hours. Ziggy is really a cutie. His coat is very soft though it looks wiry. He seems to be the life of the party in the community yard, he is always bouncing around greeting everyone and stealing toys!
If you are interested in adopting this pet, please download and complete our Preliminary Adoption Application and return it per the instructions given. If you are approved an adoption consultant will contact you to arrange a person meeting. As always we thank you for considering a rescue companion!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ziggy, a McDonough Chihuahua/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in McDonough, or seeking a Chihuahua/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier puppy from a breeder in McDonough.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McDonough already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McDonough breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Chihuahua/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McDonough paves the way for another one to be saved.
